The Music

You know that feeling of satisfaction you receive when you finally replenish your music collection with quality, fresh new music? Well, after a bit of a slump I’ve finally reached that stage again so I decided to share some of the music that’s been inspiring me as of late:

Le Apartment

Over the last couple of months I’ve been busy trying to decorate the interior of my new apartment, although I am yet to reach a point where I’m entirely happy with how it looks. I love the process of updating new furniture and re-arranging how everything looks together, creating something new out of old pieces.

Over time I’ve collected some really cool key things that have made it easier to decorate the new apartment. I’ve always liked to take photos of how things have been arranged – a little snapshot of time of how my room once looked.

I came across these snaps from my old place which I thought I’d share and I’m really looking forward to doing a follow up post to contrast just how different the new apartment feels to the old apartment.


Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo & Juliet

For some reason I had this random urge to start listening to the Romeo & Juliet soundtrack last week which prompted me to start looking at film stills of the movie.  I’ve always thought Baz Luhrmann was a genius and I’ve always listed Romeo & Juliet as one of my favourite films but never really appreciated the soundtrack until now.

I thought I’d dedicate a post to the stills and songs that have been inspiring me over the past week.
