W Hotel, Hong Kong

I thought I’d end my series of Hong Kong posts with images of the hotel that I stayed at – the W Hotel, Hong Kong. Hong Kong is one of those cities I can revisit over and over again and still manage to have an incredible experience every time.

This time around I stayed at the W Hotel which I was really excited about, having read rave reviews on numerous design magazines. The hotel definitely lived up to it’s hype – boasting room views overlooking Hong Kong harbour, one of the best buffet breakfast’s I’ve ever visited, a well fitted out health centre and a rooftop pool overlooking the city.

As with all other W Hotels, what I particularly loved was the design detail throughout the hotel. Here are a few photos of the hotel (which you should definitely stay at if you’re ever in Honkers!)

Nimbin Museum

For $2 we got into the Nimbin museum which was genuinely pretty well decorated. This was no ordinary museum it was more like a junkyard because it was outfitted in a lot of random epherema which actually worked in a nice, disorderly way.

What i did notice were some phrases that were scribbled across the walls in every room which were really interesting.
